Sheralyn Heideman

Sheralyn Heideman has been working as a lawyer since 2015 and specializes in liability and insurance law. Sheralyn specializes in heavy equipment and other construction related liability matters, contractual liability and insurance policy coverage disputes, and is well versed in the fields of liability insurance, heavy equipment insurance, event insurance and transport insurance. She assists mainly insurers, insurance intermediaries and insured parties.

Sheralyn joined Cox Ten Bruggencate in September 2023, having worked in Rotterdam in the years before. She completed both the Private Law Legal Practice Master (master Privaatrechtelijke Rechtspraktijk) at the University of Amsterdam, as well as the Liability & Insurance Master at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2021-2022, Sheralyn completed the specialization course Insurance law of the Eggens Institute cum laude.

Sheralyn regularly gives presentations on topics from her practice. She is a board member of Young InSurance, an organization for young professionals in the Dutch insurance market. She is also a member of the Association for Liability Law and Damages (Vereniging voor Aansprakelijkheids- en Schadevergoedingsrecht – VASR), the Association for Insurance Science (Vereniging voor Verzekeringswetenschap), and the Association for Young Professionals Personal Injury (Vereniging Jonge Professionals Personenschade).
